Manage your product catalog

Existing Product is a product that is already listed in the OPT catalog and is ready to sell. This can be a pick-and-pack article such as a CD, vinyl, book, etc. Or it is the Virtual Product with defined prints, customizations, and technologies that will be manufactured on demand.

Every product can contain more product variants, typically the size variants that are identified using the EAN-13 code. Information about product variants can be retrieved from the Get Product Variants endpoint.

Utilization

The utilization of the product catalog is suitable for applications that work with a predefined set of products that are repeatedly sold. Examples include e-shops, marketplaces, and similar platforms.

How to create a product?

Product creation is not supported in the API yet. To create Virtual Products or add pick-and-pack articles, please contact your assigned account manager, and our team will assist you with the product setup.

How to order a product?

Submitting the order for existing product is easy. Call the Create Order endpoint a provide the EAN-13 of selected product variant. Before an order submitting, we highly recommend verifying the stock availability, especially for products that cannot be manufactured on demand.
